WooCommerce source reporting

See which source actually makes profit

Source Tracker by Summa uses WooCommerce’s own order data to show where your customers came from, what they brought in, and what’s left after ad costs. By source, by day, in one place.

Features

A live report instead of a spreadsheet

No extra tracking code: it works from the data already saved with your orders, and connects it to margin and cost.

📊

Source × day report

Google, Meta, newsletter, organic, referrers, direct: every source on its own row, day by day, for the period and order statuses you choose.

💰

Margin and profit

Order count, net revenue, margin, cost, profit and cost per order (CPO), one at a time or together, in a daily or a financial view.

🔄

Google Ads sync

Map your campaigns to cost categories and the plugin pulls in yesterday’s spend every night. Past periods can be re-synced too.

🧾

All costs in one place

A category × day grid for manual items, plus a daily budget for channels without an API: set the amount and the start date, and the plugin fills in the rest.

📦

Product profitability

Joins Google Ads spend (Shopping, Performance Max) with sales for each product: profit, ROAS and a filter that finds the products burning money.

🤖

Export for AI analysis

A single Markdown file with every metric, weekly or monthly, including built-in analysis instructions, made for Claude. There’s a CSV export for Excel too.

At a glance

Don’t just see traffic, see what’s left

The channel with the most revenue isn’t always the most profitable. The report also shows when a source costs more than the margin it earns.

Setup

Three steps to your first report

01

Consultation

We look at where you store purchase prices, which channels you advertise on, and what your costs are made of.

02

Setup

We install it, configure the margin calculation and cost categories, connect your Google Ads account, and merge the sources that belong together.

03

Review

The report is built from your existing orders, and we go through the first numbers together before you base decisions on them.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

From WooCommerce’s built-in Order Attribution, which has been on by default since version 8.5. The plugin adds no new tracking code to your site.
Yes, if the source data was saved when the order was placed. Where it’s missing, the order goes on the “Direct” row.
Either a purchase price stored per product (the field name is configurable, and so is whether it holds a unit price or the full line price), or a global margin percentage of the selling price.
Margin minus the recorded costs. Revenue and margin are net of VAT and shipping. Operating costs such as wages or logistics are not deducted.
No, costs can be entered by hand or as a daily budget. The sync and the product-level report need your own Google Ads developer token and OAuth access; we help you set those up.
WordPress 6.0, PHP 7.4 and WooCommerce 8.5 or newer, with HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage) turned on, because the report reads those tables directly. The admin interface is in Hungarian.
